(“MPBP”) respects the privacy needs and concerns of our members, sponsors and guests.  We place great importance on how we handle personal information you submit to MPBP.  This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we gather about you, what we do with it and the safeguards we have in place to protect it. With regard to your use of MPBP’s web site, https://mpbp.org,  (the “MPBP Site”), by using the MPBP Site, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Privacy Policy.  When you provide personal information to the MPBP Site, you are consenting to the manner in which our organization will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information, as described below:

What Information do we collect?

While using our MPBP Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.  Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, telephone number (“Personal Information”).

 

We collect information from you when you log in to our MPBP Site, register on our MPBP Site, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

 

What do we use your information for?

We may use your Personal Information for MPBP’s business only.  Some of the ways we may use your Personal information may include, but is not limited to, MPBP Site administration, personalizing the MPBP Site for you, enabling your access to and use of the MPBP Site, publishing information about you on the MPBP Site and sending statements/invoices.

 

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your Personal Information when you enter, submit or access your Personal Information.

 

We offer the use of a secure server.  All sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our database only accessible by those authorized with special access rights, and who are required to keep the information confidential.

 

We use SiteLock Web Application Firewall (WAF) and SiteLock Infinity.  The Web Application Firewall protects the MPBP Site from malicious traffic, and blocks harmful requests.  SiteLock Infinity is vulnerability and malware detection and remediation service which scans our MPBP Site repeatedly to detect and patch vulnerabilities.

 

 

About Cookies
